It owns interests in the Cottonwood and Ellison claims, prospective for gold and silver ores, located in Nevada, the United States. It also has an agreement to earn 10% working interest in an oil and gas exploration lease called the Jorf Claims located in central Tunisia. The company was formerly known as Zappa Resources Ltd. and changed its name to AKA Ventures Inc. in July 2008. AKA Ventures Inc. was incorporated in 1980 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.
