Colombia Crest Gold Corp. engages in the acquisition of gold exploration projects in South America. The company owns 100% of mining concessions covering 120 square kilometers on the San Simon Plateau, northeastern Bolivia. It also has an option to acquire approximately 15,000 hectares of the Fredonia project located in the Cauca River Valley, northwestern Colombia. The company was formerly known as Eaglecrest Explorations Ltd. and changed its name to Colombia Crest Gold Corp. on February 14, 2011 to emphasize its focus on the search for gold resources in Colombia. Colombia Crest Gold Corp. was incorporated in 1981 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
